I am reading "Digital Fortress" by Dan Brown.
A couple of months ago, my cousin Evan told me that he didn't like Dan Brown's novels because all of his main characters are "unrealistically perfect": Smart, beautiful, brave, kind, rich, and blah blah blah. Evan'd rather read those that tell the true story about human beings and life. He also recommended "Tuesday with Morrie," which is by a good chance one of my few book collection that was given as a gift by Annie, a friend in USA.
Evan was right. Although I just started Digital Fortress, I've already got tired of Brown's writing pattern. Like his other best-sold fiction, Da Vinci Code, his characters are unbelievably PERFECT. Besides all the good features a person can possibly have, they're also water-proof, bullet-proof, and even death-proof/immortal!! Haha!! This reminds me of some comic books and novels for tean girls... kind of childish and dreamy you know?
Alright. I am not saying that I don't like Digital Fortress because I am still going to finish it. However, I am saying... that maybe I should read more biography/autobiography instead of FICTIONS to make myself more into the real world.
I cannot be thinking like a mentally-ungrown adult anymore.
